Landon Miller COO

Landon is an experienced Executive with CIO/technical manager, Sr. Program Executive/program manager, and Chief Engineer /systems engineer experiences who has worked at the senior levels of large complex organizations such as Boeing, IBM, BMW, BHP, Matra Espace, Aerospatiale, as well as with many other organizations in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Landon is a patent attorney and a retired Partner of KPMG Peat Marwick. In addition, Landon is also an author and inventor with over 40 patents in his name.

After playing football and graduating from Alabama and the University of Washington, Landon was an Officer of the Deck on nuclear submarines in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, while he earned his Masters in Systems from George Washington/MIT, and he served in the Reserves until his retirement as a U.S. Navy Commander.

During Landon's 30 year business career he successfully completed hundreds of projects as the Lead Executive for over 200 clients and customers. His former clients span many industries, with particular concentration in the Information Technology, manufacturing, aerospace & defense, healthcare, and agribusiness industries. He successfully started and built his own firm, Vertical Systems, Inc., into a top 15 (out of 3600) performer for IBM, and has sold, bought, merged, divested, and acquired many companies. He has extensive public company management and market IPO experiences.

Landon and his co-inventors of the basic Aemerge technologies utilized by the company in its operations brings significant multidimensional technical expertise in addition to his project and business leadership skills to the Aemerge team.
